Hooligans win it all

It started off as a very tight game then with a great kick which lead to a home run the Hooligans took the lead and never looked back.
Coach Sami lead the Hooligans into another great championship battle which now makes the Hooligans a Dynasty for sure.
Thank you all who plays NAKAD and congrats to the Hooligans on another championship and to Ludicrous Speed on a great season and taking 2nd place.

Tonight the road to the Summer 2009 champion coninues. Tonight we will see who the champion is! If your team was eliminated last week then come on out and support your other favorite teams in the playoffs. The games will begin at 6:30 so if you don't know what time your game is then make sure to get in touch with your team captain.
After the games we will head over the Boulders to party with some free beverages and food. We thank you all for making this season a great one and cannot wait for the Fall session to start on October 2nd.

Urgent Kickball News

We have important news about this week. We have ran into some challenges with Mother Nature and Tempe Parks.
This week 8/7/09 we had week 6 scheduled and 8/8/09 we had the All-Star Game schedule.
First we heard from many of you, that you would prefer not to play the All Star Game due to the hot afternoons during the summer.
As we were looking to find another option we were hit with info that we would be loosing Daley Park (just for August). Tempe Parks gave us Kiwanis Park to make up for it except for this week. They could only give us a middle school park with NO BOOZE!
So like any reasonable and responsible kickballer would do, we have decided to schedule a PARTY instead. That's right this Friday, 8/7/09, there will be NO GAMES and there will be NO All-Star Game on 8/8/09. Instead we will buy pizza and beer at Boulders on Broadway for all NAKAD Kickballers! That's right Friday Night, we will be at BOULDERS.
So come in casual wear or your kickball gear. The food and beer starts at 7:30pm and the Beer Pong and Flip Cup will start soon after. What do kickballers do if they can't kick a ball....PARTY! We will have prizes for Flip Cup and Beer Pong so come ready to get your NAKAD swag.
PS...Tempe Parks have assured us that next season we will have Daley Park the whole season. Look for registration to open soon.
Summer Season Underway!

1. Week two will happen 7/10/09. We will NOT be having games on 7/3/09.
2. If you registered before 6/20/09 and did not get your shirt, it will be available at the field on 7/10/09. If you registered after 6/20/09 your shirt will be available week 3, 7/17/09.
3. Boulders on Broadway is our official division bar. Head over to Boulders after the games for discounted food and drinks. Boulders offers us $5 pizzas and $2 domestic pints on Fridays after the games.
4. A quick RULES reminder for the new season. Pitchers, all pitches must be under 45 degrees. This means no side arm or overhand pitching.

Beer Pong @ Boulders 6/12/09

Beer Pong starts at 7pm. Show up early to sign up. Registration is $30. Half of the pot will be going to charity the other half to the winners. Come try and win the pot.
